Note di degustazione 100% Agave Durangensis Mezcal Joven è sorprendente nell’ aroma e nel gusto. Al naso emergono subito deliziose note affumicate e delicati sentori di erba che si confermano nel sapore, caratteristico di un Mezcal Joven. Mezcal Joven può essere sorseggiato puro, oppure mixato in cocktails, dai quali si sprigiona una miscela di sapori: il tutto con l'essenza di Lágrimas de Dolores.

 

Il Mezcal è prodotto al 100% da Agave Durangensis, caratteristica del Durango, Stato del Messico Settentrionale. L'agave viene estratta nel Ranch La Campana de Santa Elena, di proprietà della famiglia Gutierrez, situato nel comune Mezquital del Durango. Mezcal Lagrimas de Dolores si contraddistingue dalla concorrenza come brand premium per tre motivi principali: 1) proviene da Durango 2) è ottenuto da un’agave rara, che garantisce un sapore davvero unico. 3) viene elaborato nella splendida cornice dell’Hacienda Dolores (che rappresenta un ruolo chiave nella brand identity dell’azienda) sotto le più severe norme di controllo della qualità. Hacienda Dolores è situata a circa 10 minuti dalla città di Durango. L’azienda si dedica totalmente ad ogni singolo processo produttivo, dalla coltivazione dell’agave, fino all'imbottigliamento e alla vendita del Mezcal. Pertanto, tale dedizione ha portato la famiglia a coltivare circa 35.000 agavi ogni anno. La produzione si basa su metodi tradizionali "artigianali", ma con l’aggiunta di processi innovativi miranti a migliorare la qualità ed i servizi per i controlli igienico-sanitari. Ad esempio, l’agave viene cotta per quattro giorni in una fossa praticata nel terreno, attraverso un fuoco alimentato da foglie e rami di legni resinosi non completamente secchi. Questo permette di preservare la caratteristica nota vellutata-affumicata del Mezcal, che la differenzia dal Tequila.
