Zona di produzione: comuni di Treiso, Neive e Barbaresco

CARATTERISTICHE:

Per produrre questo vino vengono usate le uve che di anno in anno secondo noi non sono adatte per produrre Barbaresco. L’aumento della superfcie produttiva della nostra azienda fa si che rientrino in questo prodotto anche e soprattutto le uve provenienti dai nuovi impianti i quali a nostro giudizio, proprio perché giovani, non risultano essere completi per produrre uva destinate a dare un grande Barbaresco.

NOTE TECNICHE:

In vinificazione si cerca di esaltare al massimo le caratteristiche di freschezza del Nebbiolo: macerazioni non molto lunghe e con temperature controllate per avere freschezza gustativa ed olfattiva. L’affinamento viene effettuato in parte in barrique, delle quali una percentuale di nuove, variabile di anno in anno, ed in parte in botti di legno da 50 ettolitri per un periodo di circa un anno. Dopo l’assemblaggio viene lasciato riposare per circa due mesi in bottiglia prima di essere posto in commercio.

SCHEDA DI DEGUSTAZIONE:

Limpido, brillante, di tonalità rosso violaceo con le evidenti sfumature tanniche più chiare visibili a bordo bicchiere tipiche del Nebbiolo. Le sensazioni olfattive sono persistenti, fragranti, aperte ed evidenziano il fruttato e l’immediatezza del vino, contornati da ben percettibili note di fragola e lampone, caratteristiche di questo vino. Buona persistenza gustativa con la presenza della leggera nota tannica tipica del Nebbiolo giovane, ben contornata dal legno e dalle altre componenti gustative del vino (proteine, sali minerali e alcol trivalenti). Buono anche il retrogusto con masticazioni lunghe e stimolanti.
