Zona di produzione: le uve provengono da sei piccoli appezzamenti, troppo piccoli per dare vita in modo individuale ad una selezione, dislocati tra i comuni di Treiso, Barbaresco e Neive

Terreno: insieme di diverse zone dell’area del Barbaresco con composizione ed origine diversa.

CARATTERISTICHE:

Ultimo nato tra i nostri Barbaresco, le prime bottiglie risalgono al 2001. Appartiene ad una denominazione importante per storia, tradizione e cultura ed ha tutta la forza e la complessità che un grande vitigno riesce ad esprimere. Il marchio Nubiola indica infatti il nome con il quale nello storico trattato di agricoltura De Ruralium Commodorum (1330), Pier Dè Crescenzi (giurista bolognese) indica uno dei migliori vitigni noti a quel tempo raccontando di “una spezie di uva nera detta Nubiola… la quale è meravigliosamente vinosa… e fa vino ottimo”. Oggi noi lo chiamiamo Nebbiolo (Nubiola si pronuncia con l’accento sulla o).

NOTE TECNICHE:

La varietà Nebbiolo che compone per il 100% il vino Barbaresco è il punto focale di questo vino che consideriamo il Barbaresco di partenza, la base dalla quale partire per arrivare al meglio sulle nostre due selezioni. Proprio per la diversa composizione dei terreni di provenienza, le conseguenti tecniche di vinifcazione utilizzate e per la storicità che abbiamo voluto esprimere con il nome, risulta essere un Barbaresco molto tradizionale. Viene vinifcato in vasche di acciaio a temperatura controllata con follature meccaniche periodiche, successivamente affnato in legno dosando piccole botti e grandi fusti di rovere da 50 Hl a seconda delle caratteristiche dell’annata sempre con l’intento di esaltare le caratteristiche varietali del Nebbiolo.

SCHEDA DI DEGUSTAZIONE:

Colore di un bel rosso rubino vivo ed invitante, si presenta all’olfatto con note foreali e fruttate che spaziano dalla frutta rossa matura alle tipiche note di erbe offcinali. Morbido, sapido e vellutato allo stesso tempo lascia sulle papille gustative una nota di dolcezza e rotondità tipica delle uve mature, con una chiusura leggermente asciutta ed astringente che contraddistingue da sempre il Nebbiolo.
