ESAME ORGANOLETTICO: Colore rosso rubino. Fresco l'olfatto speziato e floreale fra ribes nero e profumi di sottobosco. In bocca è di facile beva grazie ad un tannino fine ed una piacevole acidità. Buona la persistenza
NOTE: "Oggi Castello di Verduno può vantare oltre al Barolo e al Barbaresco una piccola perla enologica frutto del vitigno Pelaverga piccolo del quale l'azienda possiede il primo vigneto in purezza che sia stato impiantato nella zona di produzione. In azienda i vigneti vengono curati nel più scrupoloso rispetto dell'habitat circostante; alla base della nostra filosofia vi è la tutela del territorio come tramite indispensabile per la salvaguardia del prodotto. La vinificazione si può definire tradizionale, in particolar modo per Barolo e Barbaresco, con una fermentazione in tino aperto e un affinamento in grandi botti di rovere con il minor intervento possibile da parte dell'uomo."
