MCM MERLOT Alois Lageder

Der Merlot "MCMLVII" entstand 1995 aus einer Intuition von Luis von Dellemann, dem damaligen Önologen des Weinguts Lageder, der im Weinberg Punggl in Magrè mit Trauben von solcher Qualität konfrontiert wurde, dass er beschloss, sie in Reinheit zu vinifizieren.

Der Name leitet sich von römischen Ziffern ab, da der erste Jahrgang um die Jahrtausendwende produziert wurde.

Malolaktische Gärung im Stahl und 18-monatige Verfeinerung in Barriques, bevor der Wein in der Flasche weiter ausgebaut wird.

Wird sofort getrunken oder im Keller aufbewahrt. Unbedingt probieren.

CANTINA

Alois Lageder ist ein wahres Synonym für Exzellenz und hat im Laufe der Jahre das Beste gezeigt, was Südtirol in Bezug auf Persönlichkeit, Eleganz und Beständigkeit auszudrücken vermag... hier geht's zum Kellerarchiv.

VERKOSTUNGSNOTIZEN

Im Glas erscheint er dunkelrubinrot mit granatroten Reflexen.

In der Nase ein breites und komplexes Bouquet mit Anklängen an reife Pflaumen, Zwetschgen und Myrte, gefolgt von Noten von schwarzem Trüffel und Unterholz. Ein blumiger Hauch vervollständigt die Sinfonie der Aromen.

Der Gaumen ist breit, umhüllend und rund. Perfekt integrierte Tannine, Würze und Frische für ein ausgewogenes Mundgefühl. Die Ausdauer ist ebenfalls lang.

PAIRINGS

Hervorragend zu Wildgerichten, reifem Käse, Lammfleisch und weißem Fleisch. Probieren Sie ihn auch mit Kalbsragout in vollem Südtiroler Geschmack.

Beschreibung: 

Dunkles Rubinrot. Anklänge an dunkle Beeren und zarte Holznuancen erinnernd. Am Gaumen intensiv, mit konzentrierter Frucht, schöner Tanninstruktur und einem angenehmen, langen Abgang. 

Weintrauben: 

Merlot (französische Klone) - Südtirol DOC. 

Zone: 

Feigenhof auf 450 m ü.d.M. in Südlage in der Nähe des Kalterer Sees, mit tiefgründigem, sandigem Lehmboden. Anbau mit Abspannungen und Drahtspaliersystem. 

Merlot Riserva Weingut Nussbaum Klosterhof 

Weinbereitung: 

Die Trauben für diesen Merlot werden sehr spät, gegen Ende Oktober, geerntet. Ein Teil der Ernte (ca. 10 %) wird in Kisten gelegt und an der Luft getrocknet. Die Gärung erfolgt spontan in offenen Holzfässern, während die malolaktische Gärung in Barriques stattfindet. Die 18-monatige Reifung erfolgt in Barriques, davon 60 % neue Fässer und 40 % zwei bis drei Jahre alte Fässer.

Der Winzer und Weinmacher Andergassen Oskar und sein Sohn Hannes vinifizieren alle Trauben aus ihren Weingärten selbst und setzen dabei auf Tradition, unterstützt von moderner Technik, mit dem Ziel, harmonische und strukturierte Sortenweine zu erzeugen. Die gutseigenen Weinbaubetriebe sind seit Jahrzehnten und Generationen im Besitz der Familie, die gesamte Produktion wird unter optimalen Bedingungen gelagert, abgefüllt und direkt am Gut vermarktet. 

  

Merlot Quirinus ST. Quirinus

Das Weingut St. Quirinus liegt in einem alten Weinanbaugebiet. Das wohlhabendste und bedeutendste Kloster der bayerischen Geschichte, das Kloster Tegernsee, besaß in Südtirol unter anderem die Weinberge von Pianizza di Sopra, einst Planties superior" genannt, die den Benediktinern und ihren zahlreichen hochrangigen Gästen Wein lieferten. Schon damals wussten sie, wo guter Wein wächst. 

Neben den klassischen Sorten wie Sauvignon, Kalterersee, Pinot Noir und Merlot stehen zunehmend pilzwiderstandsfähigere Sorten (PIWI) wie Bronner, Johanniter, Aromera, Chambourcin, Prior und Cabernet Cortis im Mittelpunkt. Das Ergebnis sind die beiden Cuvées Planties White und Planties Rosé. 

Dunkle granatrote Farbe, vollmundig und rund mit samtigen Tanninen, harmonischer Säure und einem Bouquet von Brombeeren, Kirschen, einem Hauch von Vanille und Röstaromen. 

Weintrauben:

100% Merlot - Südtirol DOC 

Gebiet:

Pianizza di sopra, Süd-Ost-Ausrichtung auf 400 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Lehmige, sandige und steinige Böden. 

Weinbereitung:

Die Trauben werden entrappt. Der Most wird in Stahlfässern bei 30° C vergoren. Malolaktische Gärung in Stahlfässern und weitere Reifung für 24 Monate in Barriques. 

Paarung:

Wild, aber auch verschiedene Fleischgerichte und Hartkäse.
